The Modular Analytics Company was founded by Jimmy Hosang and Sean Northam in 2018 to change the way data science is understood and applied. The philosophy of the company is to generate, accelerate and modulate results; we build, test, fail and learn fast to provide value faster than other bigger, more expensive players in the market.  But we couldn't do this without our people. At the heart of our work are TMACCERS—a group of insatiably passionate experts who are as tenacious as they are experienced. Meet some of our team below! 

Jimmy Hosang

CEO

Jimmy Hosang is Chief Executive Officer at TMAC and has had a long career in data consultancy and advisory. He is a former data scientist with expertise in next best action, machine learning and speech analytics. His career has focused on driving innovation in a variety of roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Direct Line Group, John Lewis, Sainburys Argos and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).

Sean Northam

Sean has a proven record of delivering analytically led transformation programmes across multiple large scale organisations. Sean has been involved in shaping the strategic and tactical goals of multiple clients when it comes to Digital Transformation, Business Transformation, Change Management & Analytic programmes.

Nicola is a senior executive who has worked with FTSE 100 companies for over 25 years across a variety of industries including: Financial Services; Retail; Logistics; Education; Pharmaceutical; Utilities and Technology. Operating on or with main boards to transform businesses profitability, by identifying, refining and refocusing the entire business on delivering the customer brand experience that creates the greatest level of sustained competitive advantage – often funded from OpEx savings.

Roozbeh Jalali

Rooz has worked in software engineering over 20 years, self-taught software development when in school and started working for as developer, cyber security analyst delivering projects for NHS, Met Police and financial services before joining B2C market delivering campaigns for Drink and Mobile Brands. In 2010 he started working with Huawei Device supporting them migrating from legacy Asian on-premises platforms to cloud as well leading team of engineers building B2B integrations for Huawei Device and its network providers. After couple of years of consultancy focused on project recovery, he joined Sony Global as Global Lead Development manager leading B2B and B2C platforms and cloud migrations. During his experience Rooz has been leading global and international teams to build and deliver SaaS, PaaS and IaaS projects.

George Hartshorn has worked in the data science industry for over 10 years. Over this time, he has delivered multiple projects utilising complex methods including Natural Language Processing, Audio/Spectral Analysis and Reinforcement Learning. AS CIO for TMAC, he is responsible for the delivery of all AI models/APIs utilised by the company.”

Nicholas has worked with some of the largest organisations in both Europe & North America over the last 15 years to revolutionise the way in which they capture, consume and deliver insight to support operational and strategic change across a range of industries such as Retail Banking, Investment Banking, Insurance and Law. With a background in delivery of enterprise transformation and a complimentary technical expertise borne from his roots as developer Nicholas has a proven track record in the successful implementation and adoption of cutting-edge analytic and AI solutions. He is currently CEO of Instinctive BI, based in Edinburgh.

Mike Migliore

Mike Migliore is a marketer with expertise in driving revenue for B2C and B2B brands across a variety of sectors including media, retail and banking. His mission is to use data and over a decade of experience to create and protect customer value. His work has won in several categories at the Data and Marketing Awards and, for use of data in marketing, at the British Media Awards and the International News Media Association (INMA). He created the AI/ML engine JAMES, the digital butler, supported by the Google Digital News Innovation Fund.

Kelly Scanlon

A highly experienced senior leader, finance professional and entrepreneur with core experience working in senior roles across the financial services sector. Kelly has spent the past 3 years building a highly successful multi-million pound data consultancy, managing the end-to-end components of the business lifecycle including all CFO responsibilities and serving as managing director for the UK business. Prior background includes working in a number of senior finance roles across the financial services sector, including serving as Head of Financial Planning & Analysis for a large regional Canadian bank before relocating to the UK taking on a range of Finance, Data and Strategy leadership roles within NatWest Group (formerly Royal Bank of Scotland).

Mike Smith is the Chief Operating Officer at TMAC. He has a wide range of senior operational experience, from leading multi site contact centre operations to deploying transformational analytics solutions across in-house / outsourced and international operations for FTSE 250 companies.

Elon Woodman-Worrell

Head of Marketing

Elon is a data-driven digital marketing specialist, with a passion for cultivating holistic multi-channel engagement strategies. Elon has extensive experience in driving behavioural change through data science, previously managing a seven stage multiple award-winning CRM lifecycle, and the development and execution of an AI driven CRM decisioning tool in her former role. Elon's passion for all things data and engagement is only matched by her passion for karaoke - both skills of which she believes are a priority for the survival of any marketing millennial.
